I am a scientist by profession, specilizing in Genetics, Molecular Biology and Agriculture currently based in the Research Triangle Park, NC, USA. I completed my Ph.D. in 1988 in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Management of genetic engineering groups, Development of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation techniques, Gene isolation, cloning and gene targeting, Molecular and biochemical characterization of transgene expression, Field testing of genetically modified crops, Teaching molecular genetics at University levels or research organizations, Disseminating biotechnology know-how in developing countries
